Today, we’re in Nepal, where a sawdust Pellet Production Line built by debon has been successfully installed, commissioned, and officially put into operation. This production line delivers an output of 2 to 2.5 tons of biomass pellets per hour.
The customer’s raw material is alder sawdust. Alder is a fast-growing tree species with abundant supply and very few impurities, making it an excellent feedstock for biomass pellet production. After pelletizing, the material becomes easier to transport and store while offering significantly higher energy value. Since the raw material contains relatively high moisture, the first step is drying. The drying system reduces the moisture content to 10%–15%, creating the ideal condition for pellet production. Next, the dried material enters the debon high-efficiency Hammer Mill, where it is finely processed into a uniform size. The material is then conveyed automatically into the Debon 8th Generation High-Efficiency Centrifugal Pellet Mill. The customer selected the Heavy-Duty 560 Pellet Mill, equipped with a 160-kilowatt motor.
Each machine produces 2 to 2.5 tons of premium biomass pellets per hour. The finished pellets are dense, smooth, and well-formed, demonstrating outstanding pelletizing performance and consistent product quality. After pelletizing, the hot pellets enter a counterflow cooler, where they are cooled and dehumidified to improve strength, durability, and storage stability. Finally, the finished pellets are automatically packed by a ton-bag weighing and packaging system, completing the entire production process.
