Description
The plastic pelletizer is essentially a dry-extrusion pelletizer; it is so named because the material is continuously extruded through the die holes as long, cylindrical strands that closely resemble caterpillars. The main unit consists of a feed hopper, a forced feeding mechanism, a vertical flat die plate, a pressure roller assembly, a heavy-duty gearbox, a main frame, an external cutting blade, and an electrical control system. It features a screw-free melting design and is a purely physical cold extrusion machine that does not require heating or melting the material.
